Description

Relive the origin
As of the first decade of the 2000s, Perù is a leading producer of Arabica coffee, often ranked ffth in world production and export. The remoteness of the plantations and the incredibly small size have allowed the development of very interesting coffee lots, such as the one we are proposing.

Territory
As in many Central and South American countries, during the 20th century, as large landholdings redistributed, farms became fragmented, offering farmers independence. The country has a notable number of organic, Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance coffees. For our “monorigine” selection we have chosen the lot produced by Finca San Juan at an important altitude that varies between 1800 and 2000 m.

The processing
The cherries are harvested manually between the months of June and September, then the ripe and unripe cherries are selected and fnally they are de-pulped, placed in water for washing and dried, at the end the beans are packaged in 60 kg GrainPro bags.

In the cup
In espresso it has a medium body, distinctive favors of citrus and chocolate with hints of vanilla in the aftertaste.

Single origin recommended for all brew methods but especially for espresso and moka.

For a better espresso experience, we recommend following our recipe: Water temperature: 93°C
Grams in: 16.5g
Grams out: 33 g

Pre-infusion: 0 seconds Total brew time: 22 seconds
